Welcome to Our Practice

Dr. Tervola did his undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota (U of M). He continued and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the U of M School of Dentistry in 1978.

For the past 30 years, Dr. Tervola has been practicing at Longfellow Family Dentistry along with his dental hygienists and assistant who have been with him for those 30 years as well as his receptionist for the past 25 years. This veteran team is dedicated to providing quality service in a family-oriented environment.

Dr. Tervola enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, traveling to warm locations with his wife, golfing, his occasional trip to Las Vegas and spending time during the summer at his cabins with family and friends.

Terry is our receptionist who handles scheduling as well as our insurance and billing department. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren aswell as sampling craft beers on her free time.

Pam is our registered dental assistant. She got her initial training as ad ental assistant while serving in the US Army. After getting out of the army she attended Hennepin County College to attain her current position as a registered dental assistant. She is an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. She spends her free time with her mother, working in the yard and watching HGTV.

Sue is our dental hygienist who also grew up in south Minneapolis. She went through the Dental Hygiene program at the University of Minnesota and has spent her entire career working at our office. She especially enjoys time with her grandson, cooking, volunteering, and trips to Lake Vermillion.

Deb graduated with a B.A. in Dental Hygiene and has spent her career in family dentistry with an emphasis on periodontal treatment. She loves working with all ages from childhood through adulthood.

When not at the office she travels with her husband, gardens, quilts and enjoys spending time with their four children and their families.
